The sin function in C returns the sine of an angle (argument) given in radians. When I installed the program version 4.9. It some GNU was not in the path satement And you get it, my code will not compile. I tried something in the autoexec.bat file but then my computer win98se would not reboat and that caused a bit drama (1) I had a look in program folder and could not see any read-me-get-it-working.txt files (2) I had a look in the help files and there was no help on.

For your trigonometric woes, one radian equals 57.2957795 degrees, and one degree equals 0.01745329 radians. So when you do your trig math, you need to translate between human degrees and C language radians.

It depends how sophisticated you want to get. If it is a simple text based console program, you can make an array of strings. Each string contains let's say eighty characters, all spaces but for one asterisk. It will be your genius to place the lonely asterisk at the right position according to y = sin(x). Print out about 50 strings with a new line each, and you have the rudimentary look of a sine function.
